Fashion Valley Photos
Fashion Valley has been compared to Rodeo Drive Hollywood and is home to the most coveted shops in San Diego. Although the high-end shops are the main focus of this outdoor fashion haven, there is also plenty to choose from for shoppers with a more budget conscious mindset.
The mall recently welcomed Dior to its lineup of stores and is introducing 21 new restaurants and boutiques over the next year, including Bottega Veneta, David Yurman, Tudor, Dolce & Gabbana, and Veronica Beard.
The many high-end stores at fashion valley scare allot of shoppers they make the whole mall feel more like a shopping center that would be found in the city not a family mall. It’s not a great place to bring the kids the prices are way to high and there aren’t very many toys or family photo places. The one saving grace is the LEGO store which is very well decorated. Santas Village is nice too but families with kids will need to use their own camera so they can avoid the high price of photos. There are also plenty of high value jewelry stores that have armed security to protect the shoppers.
Fashion Valley is home to a variety of family-friendly restaurants, including California Pizza Kitchen, PF Chang’s, and The Cheesecake Factory. Many of the mall’s larger stores have luxury cafes inside, such as NM Cafe at Neiman Marcus and 59th & Lex at Bloomingdale’s.
Families will also find a wide selection of kid-friendly toys and clothing at stores like Lego, Build-A-Bear, Gepetto’s Toys, and the Disney Store. If you’re in the mood for sweets, you can visit Pinkberry, See’s Candies, or Haagen-Daz.
If you’re looking for something unique, consider joining a local expert on a tour of San Diego’s history and culture. Todd is an expert in the city’s sordid past and he shares his knowledge on tours that include a Brothels, Bites & Booze tour. Learn more about San Diego’s history and have a fun night out with friends at the same time. The cost is reasonable and you’ll enjoy a delicious meal and drinks along the way.
Throughout the holiday season Fashion Valley offers fun events for families. They host Santa photo experiences and Caring Santa for children with special needs. They also host an event for their partnership with Susan G Komen San Diego. Our team was hired to take both photography and video for this event.
There are also a number of stores that cater to kids like Build-A-Bear Workshop, Disney Store and Lego store so you can find gifts for the entire family while shopping at Fashion Valley. You can even bring your pets in for a picture with Santa!
This year, Fashion Valley will have a Social Media Holiday Concierge who will tweet shopping tips and gift ideas for you while you’re at the mall or on-the-go. You can follow them on Twitter and ask questions using #FashionValleyConcierge. Also, be sure to stop by for the Fashion Valley Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 29 from 6pm – 7:30pm.
